The pick is in! Rome Odunze is joining Caleb Williams as the two newest members of the Chicago Bears.
We knew the Caleb Williams pick was coming down. That has been known for quite some time. However, I am still chewing on the Bears’ selection of Rome Odunze. I like the pick. All things considered, I love it. I’m not used to liking multiple picks made by the Bears front office. So you’ll have to excuse me if my typings come off a bit scatter-brained.
Perhaps some Rome Odunze highlights will buy me some time to get my act together:
CHECK IT OUT: The Chicago Bears Took Washington Wide Receiver Rome Odunze With the Ninth Pick in the 2024 NFL Draft
Yeah, that highlight reel looks mighty fine! If this is what Chicago’s future looks like with Rome Odunze catching passes from Caleb Williams, then I think things will be fine moving forward with the Bears.
And if you were wondering how Caleb Williams would react to the pick, here you go:
Folks … I think Caleb likes the pick.
Yes, Williams publicly stumped for his former high school teammate Olu Fashanu. But it sure looks like he is happy with the pick. I can’t say I blame him one bit. The Bears just paired him with Mel Kiper Jr.’s No. 4 overall prospect. Think about that for a second. Chicago’s football team just landed two of the top five prospects in this draft class. What a fortuitous stroke of good luck for Ryan Poles and friends.
How do you feel about the Bears taking Caleb Williams and Rome Odunze?
I’m looking forward to reading some comments for a change…
