As expected, the Inside the NBA crew laid into the Chicago Bulls on Thursday night.
Torrey Craig and Andre Drummond were part of arguably the dumbest play of the season. After poking the ball away from the Knicks, the two veterans and Coby White found themselves in a 3-on-0 fastbreak. Despite being down 9 points at the time, Craig decided to go for the showtime dunk. He tossed the ball off the backboard to himself and rose for the jam. So what was the problem? Well, Andre Drummond also rose for the jam.
The two collided at the rim, resulting in a missed dunk and a whole lot of embarrassment. Many folks immediately quipped that this play would end up No. 1 on Shaqtin’ A Fool, and those folks were right! Shaquille O’Neal and the entire NBA on TNT crew had plenty of fun at the team’s expense.
You can watch the moment unfold here:
"Chuck, this may be the worst play in Shaqtin' history!" 💀

Shaq declared that the Bulls’ blunder might be the “worst play in Shaqtin’ history.” The editors also had their fair share of fun with the clip, throwing in a shot of MJ laughing and plenty of sound effects. Ernie Johnson, Charles Barkley, and Kenny “The Jet” Smith enjoyed the clip so much that the crew even replayed the entire montage a second time.
Not only does this play perfectly define the Chicago Bulls’ season, but the fact they continue to be laughed at on national television also does the trick! The worst thing is, I can’t even blame Shaq and Co. for ripping the Chicago Bulls to shreds. That play was utterly ridiculous, and the team 100 percent had this coming.
