Jamal Murray ended the Los Angeles Lakers season on Monday night.
The Denver Nuggets star lived up to his playoff persona in Game 4, scoring 32 points with 7 assists in 41 minutes of action. Murray had 12 of those points in a pivotal fourth quarter, and this included his clutch go-ahead bucket with just 4.0 seconds left on the clock. Dribbling out the clock, Murray came around the Jokic screen and drove to a step within the free throw line. Austin Reaves was there for a solid contest, but Murray still found the bottom of the net.

As great as that shot is, I’m not sure we can call it his best moment of the game. Murray made several huge shots down the stretch, and this included a ridiculous poster dunk on LeBron James with the score knotted up at 97.
Accepting the Jokic feed off a beautifully timed cut to the rim, Murray rose and bodied James at the rim. He even capped it off with a little mean mug!

Murray has built up quite the reputation for showing up during the biggest moments, so I don’t think anyone is surprised that he took over this pivotal game. But the fact he still ended a five-game series with TWO game-winning shots is pretty darn incredible.
The Nuggets will now move on to face the Minnesota Timberwolves in the second round of the Western Conference playoffs. The reigning champs will surely enter the series as the favorites, but they better watch out with Anthony Edwards playing some of the best basketball in the league right now.
