Recent Detroit Tigers Seasons
The Tigers finished 78-84 and missed the playoffs in 2023. The team hasn’t reached the playoffs since 2014. That season, the Tigers were bounced 3-0 in the Divisional Round by the Baltimore Orioles. Detroit hasn’t had a winning season since 2016 when the team went 86-75.
The Tigers reached the World Series back in 2012 when they lost to the Giants 4-0. The Detroit Tigers haven’t won a World Series since beating the San Diego Padres 4-1 back in 1984 under manager Sparky Anderson.
