The Windy City Bulls Are Officially Set to Return Later This Year!

The Windy City Bulls have not played a game since March 10th, 2020, but that will all change this winter.

According to the team’s social media account, the Bulls G-League affiliate will return to action this November with a full slate of games that will be announced next week.

The team had ceased practically all operations at the start of the pandemic, eliminating any opportunity for two-way contract players like Devon Dotson and Adam Mokoka to see significant playing time. Even when the G-League reconvened to hold a season inside the Orlando Bubble back in February, the affiliate decided not to participate.

It will now be interesting to see which players end up on the roster and how actively Arturas Karnisovas and Marc Eversley look to use the team. After all, their entire first season of operation did not provide them with this perk, and we all know how big of an emphasis this organization is trying to make player development.

Meanwhile, President of the Windy City Bulls Brad Seymour will have to work on rebuilding a full roster and coaching staff. Damian Cotter, the previous head coach, recently received a promotion to Billy Donovan’s coaching staff, creating an important hole to fill.
