Chicago Bears 2024 Training Camp Report Date Announced

Chicago Bears training camp is around the corner.

The team’s official report date for training camp 2024 is July 16 for rookies and July 19 for veterans. If you’re someone who likes a calendar countdown, we’re only 28 days from rookies reporting to Halas Hall for training camp activities. As for the veterans on the roster, that countdown is at 31 days.

As for the NFL’s other 32 teams, ESPN’s Adam Schefter has you covered:

CHECK IT OUT: How and When You Can Get Chicago Bears Training Camp Tickets

Chicago Bears training camp is coming to Halas Hall

When it comes to summertime practices at Halas Hall, our countdown is at 38 days until the first public practice. That is when we’ll get our first glimpse of rookies such as quarterback Caleb Williams and wide receiver Rome Odunze, who will hopefully have their rookie deals signed by the time camp starts. Punter Tory Taylor and defensive end Austin Booker will be worth keeping tabs on, too. I am also holding out hope that we’ll also get a shot at seeing offensive lineman Kiran Amegadije, who missed practice time during the offseason training program while nursing a pre-existing quad injury.

It isn’t just the rookies we’re looking forward to seeing this summer. Wide receiver Keenan Allen headlines the newcomers arriving at Halas Hall in 2024. An overhauled offense also includes free agent signings D’Andre Swift, tight end Gerald Everett, and center Coleman Shelton. There are a whole bunch of new coaches, too, with Offensive Coordinator Shane Waldron and Defensive Coordinator Eric Washington getting top billing among the new assistants on Matt Eberflus’ staff. I guess we can’t look past that we’ll get our first eyes-on look at Eberflus’ new beard. Oh, and the HBO “Hard Knocks” folks will be there, too.

Talk about things you didn’t know you needed until you had them. Seeing these July report dates is a sight for sore eyes, particularly if you’ve been watching Chicago baseball this season. I’m someone who values my downtime. But after watching another blown save in last night’s Cubs game, I’m just about ready to leave baseball in my rearview mirror and turn all my attention to Chicago’s football team. It’s been a rough go for my baseball loving heart.
