New Bears DT Justin Jones Absolutely ROASTED Packers Fans (And I’m So Here for It)

Justin Jones is about to gain a cult-like following among Chicago Bears fans.

Because even though Jones has spent just one season in Chicago, he is wasting no time in stoking the flames of the franchise’s long-standing rivalry:

Oh boy is right!

It sounds like Justin Jones laments losing to the Packers as much as we do. You love to hear that kind of stuff. Especially from the new guys. It isn’t always the case to see free agents immediately dive into the depths of long-standing rivalries that they’re new to experiencing.

Admittedly, it’s meatball-y. But it is also fun. This is the type of stuff that helps spark interest in a rivalry that has been mostly one-sided over the last few decades. And it hasn’t been the Bears side. Hence, we gobble up stuff like this as soon as it lands in front of our faces. Jones’ words are going to be like throwing red meat in front of a hungry dog. They’re going to eat it up. So brace yourselves for an onslaught of tweets and social shares of Jones calling Packers fans “shitty” and football stupid. Because nothing like stoking a rivalry by calling out a fanbase and mocking their football intelligence. Frankly, I can’t imagine there is a better way to appeal to your own fanbase than by channeling your own inner meatball.

Although, beating your rivals, doing so en route to putting up a winning record, and ultimately winning a Super Bowl would probably do the trick, too.

First things first, the Bears and Packers have a date in 89 days. Win that game, give yourself the opportunity to talk some more, and then go out and win the next one. But if you don’t win that first one, prepare yourself because it won’t be pretty around these parts.
