Caleb Williams, DJ Moore, Cole Kmet, Rome Odunze, Kyler Gordon, and Teven Jenkins are among the Chicago Bears players who took starring roles in the team’s 2024 schedule release video drop.

Here it is in all of its glory:

Sincerest kudos to the Bears creative team for taking it to the next level with the squad’s 2024 schedule release.

These get more creative with each passing year. And while I’m not sure who’s behind the uptick in schedule-release innovation at Halas Hall, I hope they are having a pleasant day and get to be treated with the most wonderful things for their efforts. At a minimum, a few extra bucks in their paycheck for a job well done.

Anyway, those of you who did not have an interest in viewing the video need not worry because I’ve got you covered with the hand-typed version of the 2024 Bears schedule:

    Chicago Bears schedule highlights

  • Getting back-to-back-to-back games against the AFC South is a weird schedule quirk. But I like it because it means the back half of the schedule is loaded with divisional rivalry games. In fact, all of the Bears’ games against NFC North rivals will come after the team’s Week 7 bye. Moreover, all but one of Chicago’s games after the bye will be against teams in the NFC. A Week 10 matchup against the New England Patriots is the only outlier. The more I type, the more I realize how totally down I am with this type of schedule becoming a thing.
  • Ranking the Bears destination trips:

    1. Week 6 vs. Jaguars — The only home game on the list, a trip to London would be awesome. I’ve already begun considering the costs of what it would take to see the Bears-Jags game from The Black Dog pub in London.
    2. Week 2 at Houston — Texas-style BBQ is high on my to-do list.
    3. Week 3 at Indianapolis — This will rank higher for me than for others because a trip to the Hoosier State means I get to see some friends and people I consider extended family. Maybe I can find another one of those giant pork tenderloin sandwiches along the way.
    4. Week 13 at Detroit — A Bears-Lions Thanksgiving game is on my bucket list.
    5. Week 18 at Green Bay — By the time the Bears get to Packers Week II, they’ll be preparing for the regular-season finale. Hopefully, Chicago’s football team will have a first-round bye locked in by the time that game kicks off. Wouldn’t it be cool for Caleb Williams to break the Bears’ losing streak at Lambeau Field?
    6. Week 15 at Minnesota — I’ve heard the Twin Cities are beautiful in the fall.
    7. Week 9 at Arizona — Nothing is better than skipping town in the deep fall to take a trip to warmer climates. An early December road game against the Cardinals would’ve checked all my travel boxes. But instead, the Niners get that slot.
    8. Week 14 at San Francisco — The Bay Area has much to offer, per friends of mine who travel to that part of the country regularly. It’s just that with the Niners playing an hour away in Santa Clara, the interest isn’t as high for me.
    9. Week 8 at Washington — It has been 24 years since I’ve made a trip to our nation’s capital. Unfortunately, a trip out east for football isn’t a priority for me until the Commanders get a new stadium.

If you’re someone who loves seeing the Bears on your television set at noon on Sundays, then this schedule is just for you. The only Sunday games that don’t have noon starts come in Week 2 (SNF), Week 9 (at the Cardinals), and Week 14 (versus the 49ers). But prepare yourselves now for the inevitable flex scheduling if the Bears come out hot to start the year.
