Blackhawks Sign Forward Teuvo Teravainen

Let’s get after it, Blackhawks fans! Remember when today was supposed to be a quiet day and we shouldn’t expect too much?

The Blackhawks are already reportedly adding forward Tyler Bertuzzi and defenseman Alec Martinez. Now we can add a reunion many have begged to see for years: Teuvo Teravainen is coming back to Chicago.

Teravainen is now 29 years old (he turns 30 on Sept. 11). He was originally selected 18th overall by the Blackhawks in the 2012 NHL Draft. He scored 25 goals in 76 games for Carolina this past season.

PuckPedia is reporting a three-year deal with a $5.4M cap hit.
