Here’s How Bulls Nation Reacted to the Alex Caruso & Josh Giddey Trade

Alex Caruso of the Chicago Bulls
Alex Caruso of the Chicago Bulls

One of my favorite things to do after a big Bulls trade (or any team I root for) is head to X and check out the instant reactions. Whether the deal is universally loved, or hated, or everyone is pretty much split, we’re always in for some fantastic content on how people feel.

Yesterday’s Alex Caruso & Josh Giddey swap was no different. Most of the instant reaction was pretty negative. Not necessarily down on Josh Giddey as much, but more so that he should have been a part of the return, not the whole return.

But we’ll have you covered on all the reaction posts you can possibly want either out now or coming out shortly, so I won’t get into that here. No, this post is just about taking a look at some of the best reactions from across Bulls Nation on the internet after yesterday’s trade went down!

Bulls Nation Reacts To Caruso/Giddey Swap

A lot of different reactions here! Let’s start with the…less than thrilled.

Then, there were the “let’s look at the bigger picture” reactions …

We did also get some positive reactions, but they were a lot less prevalent.

Long story short, we don’t know how this trade will play out. Caruso will undoubtedly be a very nice piece for OKC that should make them an NBA title favorite. Giddey is a gamble for the Bulls front office. He’s got tremendous upside, is only 21 years old, and has shown All-Star potential at the NBA level. On the downside, he’s coming off a down year and really struggled shooting the ball for the Thunder last season.

There are no guarantees in sports or in trades like yesterday’s, but what is a guarantee is that sports and trades like that will always give us some A+ content and reaction online.
