“I’m a Dawg:” Watch Angel Reese Cap Off Huge Win With Electric Interview

The rivalry between Caitlin Clark and Angel Reese has officially transferred to the WNBA.

After starting 2-0 against the Chicago Sky, Clark finally lost to her fellow rookie sensation on Sunday afternoon in Chicago. Angel Reese scored a career-high 25 points with 16 rebounds to help the Sky pull off the 88-87 victory. At one point, the Sky were down by as much as 15 points, but Reese’s five-straight points to end the third quarter (and 10 points in the fourth quarter) helped get the group back on track.

Pulling off the victory in front of a jam-packed Wintrust Arena, you could tell that Angel Reese was feeling the energy. And this led to quite an amazing postgame interview with Holly Rowe.

“I’m a dawg. You can’t teach that,” Reese said. “I’m going to go out and do whatever it takes to win every single night. My teammates rely on my energy, so being able to be the energy even if we’re down, even if we’re up, that’s what I do.”

Blend up that mentality and pump it straight into my veins!

Reese is an outstanding defender and an even better rebounder. But, ultimately, her relentless hustle is what makes her so special. The Sky feel like they have a real superstar on their hands, folks!
