We Now Know the Chicago Bulls’ Summer League Schedule!

We’re only a couple of weeks away from Chicago Bulls basketball!

The NBA officially announced the 2024 Las Vegas Summer League schedule on Friday morning. The event will tip off on July 12 with seven different games, including Atlanta vs. Washington. This matchup will pit No. 1 overall pick Zaccharie Risacher against No. 2 overall selection Alex Sarr. The Lakers will also see Tennessee sharpshooter Dalton Knecht face off against the Rockets’ newest marksman Reed Sheppard.

Chicago will not find themselves on the court until the following day. Matas Buzelis will see his first taste of action in a Chicago Bulls uniform against the Milwaukee Bucks. The Bulls will then be right back it the next day for a battle with the Warriors.

Here’s the full schedule:

7/13 – vs. Milwaukee, 3:30 p.m. CT (NBA TV)
7/14 – vs. Golden State, 9:00 p.m. CT (ESPN 2)
7/16 – vs. Detroit, 5:30 p.m. CT (NBA TV)
7/19 – vs. Atlanta, 5:00 p.m. CT (NBA TV)
*fifth game TBD

You can view a complete NBA Summer League schedule here.

Considering the NBA will use results after the first four contests to declare a championship game, a fifth game will not be decided for every team until a later date.

What stood out most to me about this schedule was that meeting with Atlanta. For those who don’t know, Buzelis called out Risacher a few weeks back before doubling down in a recent interview with Shams Charania before the draft. The confident G-League Ignite player has wanted to challenge the similarly versatile wing to a game of one-on-one:

“I respect Zach as a player, of course. He’s a great player,” Buzelis said. “He just doesn’t want to see me. I’m just going to keep it real with everybody. He doesn’t want to see me, and I’m going to stand on that,” Buzelis said.

I really wish the schedule-makers found a way to put this one in the first weekend. I’ll keep my fingers crossed both guys are still playing, but we may have to wait until the Chicago Bulls’ regular season tips off.

Also, in case you missed it, the Bulls added another familiar face to their Summer League squad this morning.
