High-A South Bend Cubs (7-15)
Jonathan Long and Felix Stevens each knocked in three runs for the Cubs as they topped the Lansing Lugnuts 8-5 in their series opener on Tuesday. Cubs starter Nick Hull allowed two earned runs on five hits and struck out five in five innings of work on the mound for South Bend.
