Triple-A Iowa Cubs Prospects
The Iowa Cubs lost to Indianapolis 4-2. Starter Thomas Pannone took the loss after giving up three runs on eight hits over four innings. Frankie Scalzo Jr. made his Triple-A debut, not allowing a run on one hit over one and one-third innings of work. Shortstop Hayden Cantrelle hit a two-run triple in the fifth inning, and Moises Ballesteros was 2-for-4 with a double in his first Triple-A game.

Low-A Myrtle Beach Pelicans Prospects
The Myrtle Beach Pelicans secured a 5-4 victory over the Kannapolis Cannon Ballers. The Pelicans’ strong performance included a late-game surge, with three runs in the top of the ninth. Pitcher Kenten Egbert delivered a solid five-inning performance, and Angel Hernandez secured the win with a strong four-inning showing.
