CUBS PROSPECTS — It was another strong night for Moises Ballesteros in Iowa, and Kyle McGowin threw for scoreless innings for the I-Cubs in a losing effort.

Triple-A Iowa Cubs Prospects

The Iowa Cubs were shut out 2-0 by Indianapolis. Starter Kyle McGowin pitched five scoreless innings, surrendering five hits, striking out seven, and walking none. Riley Martin pitched two scoreless relief innings, and Michael Arias pitched the eighth inning, taking the loss after giving up two runs on three hits. Moises Ballesteros had a strong performance at the plate, going 3-for-4.

Catcher Ethan Hearn had a two-run single, going 1-for-4, and Felix Stevens went 2-for-4 and scored once.
