Host and Cater the Party

When it comes to last-place punishments, an easy option is to have the fantasy football loser host the end-of-the-season party. They provide the drinks and spread as the group gets together to celebrate a fun season. This one is pretty painless except for leaving a hole in the loser’s wallet.

Champion Gets to Name Your Team

This one is pretty painless and involves fantasy football team names. Let the champion of the league select the team name of the loser in the following season. The loser must keep the team name for the entire season. It’s easy and a great reminder for the last-place team of the current league how they can be next.

Stand-Up Comedy?

Who doesn’t love an open mic night? Make it even better by making the loser of your league perform at an open night for stand-up comedy. The rest of the league gets to watch, heckle, and bask in the glory of not finishing last.

Add a few extra rules such as the loser has to write original material and take up the entire time allotted. Make sure they’ve never done stand-up before or else the league champ should write the material.

A Challenge at IHOP

One of the best fantasy football last-place punishments involves pancakes or waffles. Find an IHOP or Waffle House. Next, the loser at the end of the season has to spend 24 hours at the location. There is some good news. They can knock off one hour for each full-sized pancake or waffle they eat.

Champion Takes Over Social Posts

It’s always fun to give the champion power over the last-place finisher when it comes to punishments for fantasy football. Allow the champion to take over the social posts of the loser of your fantasy league for a specific amount of time. Once again, let’s keep this fun. Let’s not ruin the person’s life who came in last. Maybe post some hilarious flat-earth theories or something.

A Proper Roast on Reddit

A roast is always a nice way to complete the fantasy football season. Don’t do a traditional roast from just the league members. Make the loser put their picture on the roast me thread on Reddit. Let thousands of strangers go at your fantasy loser.

The NFL Combine

This next one is a hilarious fantasy football punishment for your league. Make the loser compete in all the drills of the NFL combine. After the season ends, you and your league mates head up to the nearest field and watch the loser compete in drills like the shuttle drill, 40-yard dash, long jump, and more.

Obviously, record the numbers and keep track over the years. This makes the NFL combine one of the best fantasy punishments. You get to see how athletic or unathletic your league happens to be.

No Haircuts

Here’s one of the simplest punishments for losers. They are not allowed to get a haircut until the next league season.

No Eyebrows

Keeping with the trend of hair, make the loser shave their eyebrows. Trust me, you wouldn’t to finish last in that league.

Keep it Fun and Clean

At the end of the day, fantasy football league members want to have fun. Keep it clean. The last thing you want to do is drive player after player out of your fantasy league because they are too afraid to finish last. The last place punishment should be fun and stay out of the ruining lives territory this NFL season.

If you are in a league that has fantasy football punishments for last place, you might want to focus on your fantasy football draft and work your starting lineup all year long. Do whatever it takes to avoid finishing dead last with your fantasy team in 2023.
