Jazz Have Two 1st Rounders in 2024
The Jazz will select at no. 10 and no. 29 in the 2024 NBA Draft. The team has three selections in the top 32 picks. It could be enough to make a trade but we will have to see what they decide to do. Trades with the Thunder and Wizards added the no. 29 and no. 32 overall picks this year.
Utah is coming off just 31 wins and is several pieces away from getting back into the playoff picture. In 2023-24, Lauri Markkanen was the team’s leading scorer at 23.2 points per game while Collin Sexton was second at 18.7. Both players were shipped to Utah in part of the Donovan Mitchell trade in 2022. Markkanen will be a free agent after the 2024-25 season.

Jazz Recent Season Results
Utah made the playoffs five out of six years led by Donovan Mitchell from 2016-22. Then, the Jazz traded him to the Cleveland Cavaliers, and have missed the playoffs the past two seasons. They even took a step back in 2023-24 by winning just 31 games after winning 37 the previous season.
