Wemby was Great in Rookie Season
Wemby was exactly as advertised and is looking like he could be a potential generational talent. He won the Rookie of the Year and earned a spot on the All-NBA Defensive Team. He was second in Defensive Player of the Year voting after a year in which he averaged 21.4 points, 10.6 rebounds, and 3.6 blocks per game.
Spurs Recent Season Results
The Spurs have missed the playoffs in the last five seasons after an epic run of postseason appearances that stretches back to 1998. The franchise won 5 championships during that span but is now looking to just get back into the playoffs.
The future looks very bright as Victory Wembanyama showed he has the potential to dominate the league after an impressive rookie campaign.
