Portland Trail Blazers 2024 NBA Draft Picks

The Trail Blazers are sitting with four draft picks in the 2024 NBA Draft. Take a look at the Blazers’ selections including two first-round picks.

  • Blazers Have 2 First Rounders in 2024

The Trail Blazers have two first-round picks in this year’s draft. They have number 7 and 14 overall. While many scouts consider this to be a weak draft, the Blazers hope to add a few players they can develop to turn things around and get the team back into the playoffs.

The Blazers traded franchise player Damian Lillard to the Milwaukee Bucks before the 2023-24 season. The franchise has missed the playoffs for the last three seasons.

The Blazers have missed the playoffs for the last three seasons after a string of appearances from 2014-21 thanks to players like Damian Lillard and CJ McCollum. They reached the Western Conference Finals in 2018-19 but were swept by the Golden State Warriors.

The team lost two NBA Finals in three years when they were beaten by the Detroit Pistons in 1990 and the Chicago Bulls in 1992. The franchise has one NBA Championship as the Blazers beat the Philadelphia 76ers 4-2 in the 1977 NBA Finals.
