The Chicago Bulls were knocked out of the Play-In Tournament as they missed the 2024 NBA Playoffs. The team has just one playoff appearance in the last 7 years. They move their attention to the draft. Check out their 2024 NBA Draft picks, future selections, and more.
Chicago Bulls 2024 NBA Draft Picks
The Bulls have one selection in the 2024 NBA Draft.
Bulls Have No. 11 Overall Pick
There are trade rumors galore surrounding the Bulls as they figure out if the future of the team will include Zach LaVine. If they keep the no. 11 pick, the team could target a guard. Kentucky’s Rob Dillingham or Providence’s Devin Carter could end up in Chicago.
Dillingham can shoot the lights out as he was 44.4% from downtown last season and he scored 15.2 points per game. He ranks number 8 on the ESPN big board while Devin Carter is no. 12 overall.
Bulls Future Draft Selections

Have the Bulls Ever Had the No. 1 Pick?
The Chicago Bulls have had the number-one overall pick two times in franchise history. In 2008, the Bulls selected point guard Derrick Rose out of Memphis. In 1999, the team took center Elton Brand from Duke.
Rose played 7 seasons in Chicago scoring 19.7 points per game and dishing out 6.2 assists. He won the Rookie of the Year and then won an MVP in 2010-11. It was looking like he was on his way to being a superstar before knee injuries ruined his career in Chicago. He tore his ACL in the 2011-12 season and then missed the entire 2012-13 season before getting injured again in 2013-14. Rose has found a role on several teams in the past decade but hasn’t regained his MVP form.
Elton Brand played just 2 seasons in Chicago before he was traded to the Los Angeles Clippers in a deal that included Tyson Chandler. Brand averaged 20.1 points, 10.0 rebounds, and 1.6 blocks in his short time in Chicago. He was the 1999-2000 Rookie of the Year and played 155 games for the Bulls
Bulls Recent Season Results
It has been a rough go for the Chicago Bulls since Michael Jordan retired after winning his 6th title for the franchise in 1998. The Bulls have reached the playoffs 12 times since then but have played in the Eastern Conference Finals just one time and haven’t been back to the NBA Finals.
Things were looking great after Derrick Rose’s MVP season in 2010-11 but the Bulls were beaten by the Miami Heat in the ECF. Then, injuries wrecked Rose’s future with the team. Since 2017-18, the Bulls have made the playoffs just one time.
We all remember the glory days for Chicago as Michael Jordan and Scottie Pippen helped the team win 6 titles in 8 years. Check out the recent season results for the Bulls dating back to their first title in 1991.
