The 2023 NFL Draft has come and gone, which means we have new rookies to insert into our Superflex dynasty rankings!
With players from the draft class like Bijan Robinson, Zach Charbonnet, Jaxon Smith-Njigba, Anthony Richardson, Bryce Young, CJ Stroud, Jordan Addison, and Quentin Johnston, we’re sure to get some stars in dynasty leagues soon.
Add in some other sleepers like Tank Bigsby, Darnell Washington, Israel Abanikanda, and Jonathan Mingo, and it’s surely time for fantasy managers to take a new look at our superflex rankings for the 2023 NFL season.

Dynasty Rankings: 2023 Superflex Dynasty Post-NFL Draft Rankings
24. Kyler Murray, QB ARI
After a poor season and some uncertainty in Arizona, it’s hard to put Murray in the upper tier of quarterbacks. Still, the fantasy upside is there and we’ve seen him perform at a high level before. He needs more pass-catching talent, but he’s a solid pickup late in Round 2.
23. Chris Olave, WR NO
The former first-round pick of the Saints was a fantasy beast last season. He averaged 13.2 points per game and should improve his output this season with Derek Carr at the helm. At this point next year, he could be in line for round 1 consideration.
22. Tyreek Hill, WR MIA
A huge target share number and unquestioned receiving role keeps Hill in the top 24, despite his age starting to climb. The Dolphins added Devon Achane to pair with Raheem Mostert and Jeff Wilson, which should keep defenses a little more honest, as well. Hill has mentioned his desire to retire after a few more seasons, but it’s hard to pass on him late in Round 2.
21. Tua Tagovailoa, QB MIA
Based on his injury history, there may be some who undervalue Tua and target him more in redraft leagues than dynasty fantasy leagues. This could prove to be a mistake, as Tua has been one of the best QBs in pro football.
The 2023 fantasy season will be huge for him, as he could move up in the ranks if he stays healthy. This is especially true with the downfield threats of Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle on the roster for the foreseeable future.
20. Bryce Young, QB CAR
While fellow rookie Will Levis could take over for Ryan Tannehill in Tennessee, there will be far less drama in Carolina this offseason. The Panthers moved up to secure the first pick of the NFL Draft and settled on Young to be their quarterback of the future. There are questions about his size, but he could prove to be a difference-maker in fantasy sooner rather than later.
19. Garrett Wilson, WR NYJ
After a fantastic rookie year, Wilson has moved all the way up to the WR7 in our rankings and looks more like a WR1 than a WR2 moving forward. With Aaron Rodgers at the helm for his Year 2, the upside for Wilson is sky-high. This keeps him ahead of a whole host of WRs and most RBs in our rankings, even post-draft. Wilson has a chance to really emerge with better quarterback play.
18. Amon-Ra St. Brown, WR DET
Some believed the drafting of Jameson Williams in Detroit was going to slow the progress of St. Brown. Well, that clearly hasn’t been the case thus far as he’s turned into a true alpha at the position. He’s one of the best players to have in a dynasty league, regardless of format.
17. Christian McCaffrey, RB CAR
There are few players who can put up the kind of fantasy points McCaffery can. In fact, there may be no single player more capable of winning your fantasy football leagues every year. Now in his second year with the 49ers, expect him to put up massive fantasy points. His yards per touch will likely increase as he becomes more comfortable in the offense. If healthy, he could be the top overall player again this upcoming season.
16. Jonathan Taylor, RB IND
One of the bigger disappointments last season, Taylor has dropped from Round 1 consideration in most leagues. Still, we’ve seen him dominate before, and he should be the focal point of the offense. This is particularly true when we consider the Colts will likely look to protect their rookie quarterback.
15. Justin Fields, QB CHI
While Taylor moved down, Fields moved up. He was simply tremendous last season and made huge strides on the field. With DJ Moore now in the fold, Fields could take another step forward next season.
14. Jaylen Waddle, WR MIA
Many believed Waddle would regress with Tyreek Hill on the roster. Well, that didn’t happen as Waddle posted a 75/1,356/8 season and saw his yards per catch nearly double. You can make a case for a few more dynasty receivers to be taken ahead of him but not many considering his age and skill set.
13. CeeDee Lamb, WR DAL
Lamb really put it all together last season with a 107/1,359/9 year, establishing himself as a dynasty building block. With TE Dalton Schultz leaving, that leaves even more targets for Lamb. We should see WR1 numbers for years to come.
12. Dak Prescott, QB DAL
In a SF league, quarterbacks have heightened value. While Prescott may not be truly elite, he’s a great player to have as your QB1 when you consider his age, opportunity, and past production. While he may not be elite, you simply cannot win without solid production, and he’s as good a bet as any when it comes to that.
11. Bijan Robinson, RB ATL
When you look at post-draft dynasty rankings, Bijan is squarely in the Round 1 conversation. He has clear RB1 upside and is at the top of our superflex rookie rankings this year, despite the great quarterbacks who are coming into the league. Bijan has an immediate opportunity to be a dominant player with a floor being that of a RB2. The Falcons are going to use him in a variety of ways. He truly looks like the next big thing at running back, vaulting all the way up to our RB1 in the rankings.
10. AJ Brown, WR TEN
After teaming up with Jalen Hurts and dominating last year, Brown is now our overall WR3. With Hurts taking such huge strides, he’s a great one to build around. The Eagles look to be a force for the foreseeable future and Brown is going to be right in the middle of it.
9. Trevor Lawrence, QB JAX
A new coaching staff finally unlocked Lawrence’s potential and Year 3 promises to be his best yet. While the Jags still need to surround him with more talent, you could clearly see this young quarterback become more and more comfortable as the year went by.
8. Ja’Marr Chase, WR CIN
You can debate Chase and Justin Jefferson all day long, but you really can’t go wrong with either of them. After averaging more than 80 catches, 1,200 yards, and double-digit touchdowns in his first two seasons, Chase is clearly in consideration at the top of any draft. With Joe Burrow likely getting locked into a long-term deal soon, this looks to be the best Bengals duo since Carson Palmer and Chad Johnson.
7. Lamar Jackson, QB BAL
After finally agreeing to a long-term contract extension, Jackson will be at the helm in Baltimore long-term. Few players offer the kind of passing and rushing upside he does. And while injuries are a concern, it would be no surprise to see Jackson as the QB1 in any season moving forward.
6. Justin Jefferson, WR MIN
With rankings updated after the draft, Jefferson still comes in as our WR1 and is our highest-ranked position player. With an unreal 128/1,809/8 season last year, he’s solidified himself as one of the best dynasty players to build around, regardless of fantasy format.
5. Justin Herbert, QB LAC
It will be exciting to see what new offensive coordinator Kellen Moore can do with Herbert this season. With Quentin Johnston added to the roster and the combination of Keenan Allen and Mike Williams still in tow, Herbert should have the goods to be even better this year. While not quite in the top tier of signal callers, Herbert is getting close.
4. Joe Burrow, QB CIN
There are three QBs ahead of him on the list, but that doesn’t mean any dynasty owner will be disappointed if they choose to build around Burrow. He’s proven to be an elite passer and should be one of the best quarterbacks for a long time.
3. Jalen Hurts, QB PHI
No single player helped his dynasty value more than Hurts last season. After all, there were questions about his ability to lead a team for a full season and improve his accuracy. After passing for 3,701 yards, running for 760 more, and accounting for 35 touchdowns and just six interceptions, the Eagles made him the highest-paid player in the NFL. Yeah, it seems the questions were answered.
2. Josh Allen, QB BUF
When it comes to rankings for superflex leagues, there are three quarterbacks who clearly stand out. Hurts is one of them and Allen comes in next. Allen has simply been fantastic the past four seasons and offers a unique blend of passing ability, rushing prowess, and toughness. Still just 26 years old, you could make a strong case to take him first overall.
1. Patrick Mahomes, QB KC
When you get into your 2023 Fantasy Football Drafts and choose a superflex format, it’s hard not to take Mahomes as the top pick. While he won’t be on top in redraft rankings, there just aren’t many other options who could overtake him in a 2QB/Superflex format. The yards, TDs, and general production you get are amazing. Still just 27 years old, too, there just isn’t another quarterback who could realistically give you a season with 5,000 passing yards and nearly 50 touchdowns.
Just Missed
There are a number of quarterbacks, running backs, wide receivers, and tight ends who just missed the cut this year. The third round consists of Anthony Richardson, Breece Hall, CJ Stroud, DK Metcalf, Saquon Barkley, Deshaun Watson, Kenneth Walker, Stefon Diggs, Tee Higgins, Travis Etienne, Travis Kelce, and Drake London.
2023 Dynasty Superflex Rankings and Dynasty Rookie Methodology Explained
It’s important to understand the relative shelf life of different positions when it comes to evaluating players. In rookie drafts, it’s not nearly as important, as you should be able to get at least six or seven seasons from virtually any player you draft, regardless of position. Running backs are always going to be the riskiest picks, as they tend to have shorter careers.
In a start-up draft, you don’t want to spend first or second-round draft capital on an aging running back, despite how productive they may be. In Superflex or 2QB leagues, quarterbacks are going to come with a serious premium, as well. In short, you need to balance youth and talent and build a team in a strategic fashion, knowing wide receivers and quarterbacks are likely going to have longer careers but carry more volatility from week-to-week.
