The Kansas City Chiefs have won the Super Bowl four times in franchise history including three out of the last five seasons with head coach Andy Reid at the helm and Patrick Mahomes at quarterback. Kansas City played in the first Super Bowl during the 1966 NFL season but lost to the Green Bay Packers. A few years later, the Chiefs were the champions of the 1969 season to win their first Super Bowl.
Then, the Chiefs didn’t reach the Super Bowl for 50 years before winning 31-20 over the San Francisco 49ers to cap off the 2019 season with the franchise’s second Super Bowl win. The Chiefs fell to the Bucs the following year before winning the Super Bowl last year 38-35 over the Eagles and 25-22 this year vs the 49ers.
